This pilot controls the aorist trend by classifying parsed sentences into discourse modes, then asking whether Feature Tense=Aor still declines over book number within comparable modes.

This is a content-control pilot over sentences that have both LLM grammar parses and discourse-mode tags. The mode-adjusted fits are linear probability diagnostics for a sentence containing at least one Tense=Aor token. Within-mode trend lines use book-level aorist proportions weighted by the number of tagged parsed sentences in that mode/book cell. Mode-Adjusted Aorist Slope
The slope is the change in probability that a tagged parsed sentence contains at least one Tense=Aor token per book number.
