Connectedness feature reference
How unusual the focal place's distinct shared-figure count is relative to degree-preserving randomised place–figure networks.

Randomly reassign figure incidences while preserving every place's figure count and every figure's overall ubiquity, keep neighbourhoods fixed, and recompute distinct shared figures. Subtract the null mean from the observed count and divide by the null standard deviation. The current feature build uses 20 seeded rewiring samples.
The place shares more distinct figures with its neighbours than the null model expects.
These descriptive statistics use the current labelled cohort after aliases have been collapsed to one row per MANTO place.

Because the connectedness features are correlated and the model's out-of-fold performance is weak, this is a conditional association—not a standalone ranking, causal effect, or historical explanation.
