How It Is Calculated

For each local neighbour, find canonical action categories present on both sides. Retain a category only when each place has at least one figure not used for that action at the other place, then count qualifying neighbours.

What a higher value means

More neighbours participate in comparable action types through distinct local casts of figures.

Important qualification. The distinct-figure rule deliberately excludes a shared action explained only by the same travelling figure at both places.
