πόλεων γὰρ τῶν ἐν Ἀρκαδίᾳ ταῖς μὲν ἐπειλημμέναις δόξης οὐδὲ τὰ ἐς τοὺς οἰκιστάς ἐστιν ἄγνωστα, τὰς δὲ ἐξ ἀρχῆς τε ὑπὸ ἀσθενείας ἀφανεστέρας καὶ διʼ αὐτὸ ἀνοικισθείσας ἐς Μεγάλην πόλιν, οὐ περιέχει σφᾶς γενόμενον τότε ὑπὸ τε τοῦ Ἀρκάδων κοινοῦ δόγμα;
