Κλαζομενίοις δὲ καὶ Φωκαεῦσι, πρὶν μὲν ἢ Ἴωνας ἐς τὴν Ἀσίαν ἐλθεῖν, οὐκ ᾠκοῦντο αἱ πόλεις·
