ἐπεὶ δὲ ἡ Νάβιδος ἐν Σπάρτῃ τυραννὶς κατελέλυτο, ἐς πλείστην ὠμότητα ἀνδρὸς ἀφικομένου, τὰ ἐς τοὺς Λακεδαιμονίους αὐτίκα ἐνεπεπτώκει·
