ἔστι δὲ κατὰ τὴν ἐς Τεγέαν ὁδὸν Λευκώνιος καλουμένη κρήνη· θυγατέρα δὲ Ἀφείδαντος λέγουσιν εἶναι τὴν Λευκώνην, καὶ οὐ πόρρω τοῦ Τεγεατῶν οἱ ἄστεως μνῆμά ἐστιν.
