How It Is Calculated

Construct the kin-linked place set from figure-to-kin-to-place paths and count how many resulting places meet the large-place threshold.

What a higher value means

The families of focal-place figures extend to more network-prominent places.

Important qualification. A kin-linked large place need not be an operational neighbour of the focal place.
