The number of operational neighbours connected genealogically to the focal place through different mythic figures.

Construct the kin-linked place set from two-step figure-to-kin-to-place paths, excluding kin already attached to the focal place, then count how many of those places are also in the focal place's operational neighbour set.
More neighbours host kin of figures associated with the focal place.
These descriptive statistics use the current labelled cohort after aliases have been collapsed to one row per MANTO place.
