How It Is Calculated

Take the union of direct place-graph neighbours and places sharing the same MANTO parent locality; include the parent itself when it is a place node, then remove the focal place.

What a higher value means

The place sits in a larger MANTO narrative or locality neighbourhood.

Important qualification. “Local” is an operational graph term. It combines MANTO relations and containment structure; it does not mean within a fixed geographic distance.
