How It Is Calculated

Run PageRank on the undirected place graph. Repeated eligible MANTO relationships between a pair of places increase that edge's weight.

What a higher value means

The place is connected to other well-connected places through stronger or repeated place-to-place ties.

Important qualification. PageRank is relative to the imported graph and release. It is not a measure of population, political importance, or textual frequency in Pausanias.
