English Translation

Among statues interspersed with dedications that are not overly conspicuous, one can see Alexinikos from Elis, who won a victory in wrestling among the boys, the work of Kantharos of Sicyon, and also Gorgias of Leontini. Eumolpus, third in descent from Deïkrates, who had married Gorgias' sister, states that he was the one who dedicated the statue at Olympia.
