Passage 7.27.12: The rivers Krios and Sythas

Κριὸς δὲ καὶ ἄλλος ὠνόμασται ποταμός, ὃς ἀρχόμενος ἐκ Σιπύλου τοῦ ὄρους ἐς τὸν Ἕρμον κάτεισι. καθότι δὲ Πελληνεῦσιν ὅροι τῆς χώρας πρὸς Σικυωνίους εἰσί, κατὰ τοῦτο ποταμός σφισι Σύθας, ἔσχατος ποταμῶν τῶν Ἀχαϊκῶν, ἐς τὴν Σικυωνίαν ἐκδίδωσι θάλασσαν.

English Translation

Another river called Krios begins from Mount Sipylus and flows down into the Hermus. At the place where the boundaries of the Pellenians' territory meet those of the Sicyonians, the river Sythas, the last of Achaean rivers, empties into the sea within Sicyonian land.
