Passage 4.27.9

The Messenians returned to the Peloponnese and recovered their own land two hundred and eighty-seven years after the capture of Eira, in the archonship of Dyscinetus at Athens and in the third year of the hundred and second Olympiad, in which Damon of Thurii won his second victory. Indeed, the time during which the Plataeans also remained exiled from their land was no small one. Likewise with the Delians, when they settled Adramyttium after being expelled from their homeland by the Athenians and the Orchomenians.
