English Translation

Next in order are dedications of the Tegeans from their victories over the Lacedaemonians: statues of Apollo, Nike, and local heroes—Callisto, daughter of Lycaon, Arcas, from whom the land took its name, and the sons of Arcas, Elatus, Apheidas, and Azan; above these is Triphylus. The mother of this Triphylus was not Erato but Laodameia, daughter of Amyclas who once ruled in Lacedaemon. Also represented there is Erasus, son of Triphylus.
